
College Overview
The College of Business and Management was established in 2012 through the merger of the College of Commerce and the College of Management, with the mission of cultivating modern business and management professionals with an international outlook.
It is the largest college of business and management among universities in Taiwan, with nearly 10,000 students and approximately 200 faculty members.
Furthermore, the College has signed dual-degree master’s agreements with several international partner universities, such as the University of Michigan–Flint, the University of Queensland, and IAE Lyon 3. Through these dual-degree programs, students can obtain both domestic and international degrees. The international academic journal "International Journal of Information and Management Sciences" published by the College is indexed in EI, demonstrating the achievements of the College in academic research. In the future, the College will further promote international academic exchange, strengthen English-taught programs, and implement overseas study strategies for junior-year students, aiming to cultivate students with a global vision and to become a leading college of business and management in the Asia-Pacific region with equal emphasis on teaching and research.

Aligned with the University’s Internationalization Policy
Each year, students of the College (including undergraduate and graduate students) participate in short-term study programs at renowned partner universities in Europe, the United States, Japan, and other countries, with excellent outcomes. In addition, the College has signed dual-degree master’s agreements with the University of Michigan–Flint, The University of Queensland, and Queensland University of Technology in Australia, enabling our master’s students to efficiently obtain both domestic and overseas master’s degrees simultaneously.

Responding to the Globalization Trend
The College actively recruits international students and exchange students from partner institutions. Each academic year, all departments offer courses taught entirely in English to provide an English-language learning environment and to enhance interaction and collaborative learning with international students, thereby cultivating management professionals with a global perspective and strong international communication skills.
Distinctive Features

Integration of Interdisciplinary Curricula
To streamline the curriculum structure, the College offers common core courses for undergraduate programs, master’s programs, and executive master’s programs. The undergraduate program (Bachelor of Business Administration) has 9 core courses, the full-time master’s program (Master of Business Administration) has 6 core courses, and the Executive MBA program has 3 core courses. International students may select core courses taught in English to complete their studies and obtain their degrees.

Enhancement of Industry–Academia Collaboration
To bridge the gap between theory and practice, the College actively promotes industry–academia collaboration projects. Through the integration of theoretical knowledge and practical experience, the College aims to enhance students’ professional skills, strengthen their employability, and achieve seamless transition to the workplace.

Encouraging Faculty Engagement in Academic Research
The Department of Management Sciences publishes the international journal "International Journal of Information Sciences" (indexed in EI); the Department of Accounting publishes "Contemporary Accounting" (ranked as a Tier-2 journal by TSSCI); and the Department of Business Administration publishes the "Journal of Management Research." These academic journals have gained recognition in their respective professional fields both domestically and internationally.
