2025 Tamkang University Interdisciplinary Micro Program in Corporate Sustainability and Governance Open for Applications

I. Students must complete the selected microprogram by fulfilling the three areas—Foundational Interdisciplinary, Thematic Topics, and Practice-Oriented. Each area requires at least one course, for a total of at least four courses. The course plan is as follows:
(1) Foundational Interdisciplinary: 1. Management 3 credits (Offering units: Dept. of Business Administration, Dept. of Economics, Dept. of Finance, Dept. of Transportation Management) 2. Economics 4 credits (Offering units: Dept. of Business Administration, Dept. of Economics, Dept. of Finance, Dept. of Transportation Management) 3. Business Ethics 2 credits (Offering units: Dept. of Business Administration, Dept. of Economics, Dept. of Finance) 4. Environmental Planning and Management 3 credits (Offering unit: Dept. of Water Resources and Environmental Engineering)
(2) Thematic Topics: 1. Sustainable Governance and Intelligent Innovation 2 credits (Offering unit: College of Business and Management) 2. Energy Economics 3 credits (Offering unit: Dept. of Economics) 3. Financial Institution Management 3 credits (Offering unit: Dept. of Finance) 4. Transportation Environmental Impact Assessment 3 credits (Offering unit: Dept. of Transportation Management) 5. Project Management 3 credits (Offering unit: Dept. of Business Administration) 6. Environmental Economics 3 credits (Offering units: Dept. of Economics, College of Business and Management) 7. Sustainable Tourism Transportation 2 credits (Offering unit: College of Business and Management) 8. Industry Analysis Research 2 credits (Offering unit: Dept. of Finance) 9. Environmental Ecology 2 credits (Offering unit: Dept. of Water Resources and Environmental Engineering)
(3) Practice-Oriented: 1. Financial Statement Analysis 3 credits (Offering units: Dept. of Business Administration, Dept. of Finance, Dept. of International Business) 2. Financial Practice and Regulations 3 credits (Offering units: Dept. of Business Administration, Dept. of Finance, Dept. of International Business) 3. International Business Operations Practice 3 credits (Offering units: Dept. of Business Administration, Dept. of Finance, Dept. of International Business) 4. Corporate Environmental Management 2 credits (Offering unit: Dept. of Water Resources and Environmental Engineering)
II. Eligibility and Application Method
(1) Eligibility: All currently enrolled undergraduate students of the university who are interested in fields related to the microprogram may apply to enroll.
(2) Application Method: From the beginning of each semester until the add/drop deadline, apply via an MS Forms form.

III. Certification Application
(1) Submit the certification application by completing the MS Forms form and uploading transcripts from all academic years.

(2) Students who did not previously apply for enrollment eligibility may still apply for certification if they meet the certification requirements.
(3) Applicants who pass the certification review will be awarded the “Tamkang University Interdisciplinary Microprogram Certificate” by the College of Business and Management.
